Arriving at Bucharest “Henri Coandă” International Airport

Bucharest “Henri Coandă” International Airport is placed in Otopeni, at 18 kilometers from Bucharest City Center.  The City Center can be reached by bus, by taxi and by train.

Public Transport
There are two Express lines which connect the airport with Bucharest.
The 780 Express line connects the airport with Gara de Nord (Bucharest North Railway Station)
The 783 Express line connects the airport with Piaţa Unirii (Unirii Square), placed in the center of Bucharest
The buses stop in front of the Arrivals Terminal and Departure Terminal. Price for one trip is 3.5 lei (0.75 Euro)

– Taxi
The fares start from 1.39 lei per km and can be up to 3.5 lei per km. More details – here.

– Train connection
Henri Coandă Express Train” connects the airport with Bucharest North Railway Station, via CFR Airport Stop. The passenger can reach the CFR  Airport Stop by shuttle mini-buses departing from the Arrivals Terminal.
Price for one trip (shuttle mini-buses plus train) is 6.8 lei (1.5 Euro).

Bucharest North Railway Station has direct connection to several public transport lines: Bucharest Metro (M1 and M4), several buses, trams and trolleybuses.
